  Wish I hadn't had the misfortune to become involved with Workplace Depot / Central Source. I bought a workbench from them online, expecting it to be delivered to my house like any other order. I placed my order, then on a Thursday / Friday Night was left a very unclear message saying my workbench would be delivered on Monday. I work however, so I emailed them on Sunday (As that is when I have time for messages etc) to let them know not to deliver until after 4pm. Apparently this did not give them enough notice to change the delivery, so they sent out my item anyway. I then phoned up to try and find out what had happened and they said the driver would not leave the product at my house as it was raining (it wasn't) and I would have to pay an £80 (including vat) delivery charge for re-delivery if I wanted my item! I have never heard of this before and buy things regularly online; they usually card or just redeliver for free. Not Workplace Depot Apparently! If this wasn't bad enough the girl on the phone Emma, was surly and argued about this with me and refused to deliver my item without me paying this ridiculous charge. After 5 min of arguing and several emails later they agreed I could pay half (Still £40 extra!) but refused to deliver the item I had paid for without this charge. Despite the fact that by law it is the sellers responsibility to get the item to you (My contract is with them, not their courier). Anyway I paid the additional charge with regret as I still wanted the Item and life is too short. Would recommend anyone else thinks long and hard before buying anything from this immoral company however. You have been warned.
